In TCS,my technical interview lasted for about 30 min.There was a panel of 2 people and they asked me questions related to my areas of interest in my case-data structures and operating systems,some questions related to C and both training and final year projects.After that MR Round contaning questions of both technical

,the HR round it lasted jst for 5 to 10 min and was very general...

The selection procedure in TCS consists of 4 rounds-
-Written test
-Technical round
-Managerial Round
-HR Round
Around 150 students appeared for the written test from our college and 75 got through it and finally 36 got selected for TCS.

For students from CS background,its better if you go through important subjects like operating systems,data structures,DBMS,C and Computer networks.Technical questions would be asked in both the Technical and Managerial rounds.

In TCS ,you need to have a strong grasp of your major subjects along with other things like confidence and good academic performance but in case of Infosys all you need is confidence and good at aptitude questions.
